For what I lack in controversy or gossip headline worthiness (thankfully), it’s more than enough for me to just be about quality music, class and artistry – still. Thank you to all who appreciate, support and understand “It’s In The Music!”

Saturday night at Giorgio’s was another memorable night among those in the groove with Adam Bravin on the decks with the perfect venue and host Bryan Rabin in the house were Mick Jagger who proclaimed when we were introduced “I know you Jody Watley!” with that distinct voice and accent – with a quick embrace and kiss to my cheek. I had to ask my longtime friend and administrative assistant Wallace Butts – after the encounter, “what did he say? Did that really happen?” We laughed about it. Mick Jagger, total rock star legend and someone I’ve been a fan of since I was a little girl. Because I’m never jaded and always with the enthusiasm of a child it meant so much, I’m an artist – but I’m also a fan of the people I like as well. This night at Giorgio’s was definitely one for the books. Mick Jagger’s enthusiasm toward me was staggering in the midst of the chaos surrounding he and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs as Bryan Rabin and my friend Christos led the way to the fray. Diddy, the mogul and hip-hop star had his entourage including his lovely girlfriend Cassie. He fabulously handed out glasses of champagne, quick toast – as we all continued dancing! Nightlife – indeed!
