This journey with Nate Smith and Rosero began prompted by trying to correct misuse and false ads, and undoubtedly turned into something else fueled by God and the universe. As the year progressed, and as it goes with the journey of life we cleared hurdles, were dealt many challenges to overcome and an initial flood of naysayers — but I remained steadfast ad did Nate and Rosero who continued to have my back. In that – we really became a group, not fueled by cashing checks but with a similar passion for music, dance and having a good time. Our goals and objectives changed as the year went along. Here’s to the unexpected, new goals, new challenges to be overcome, new inspirations and 2016. Togetherness and teamwork.

Our first video is under our belt for the new single ‘SlowDance.’ It was surreal, and the vibe is funky chic and the locations are epic. I can’t wait for the finished film directed by Damien Sandoval. For the naysayers and doubters – we continue to move forward with our actions and not words. We are the real deal in this new era – Shalamar ® Reloaded. Here are a few snapshots and selfies.

These guys brought so much enthusiasm and energy – actor/filmmaker Garret Backstrom is 19 – Damiel Sandoval is 29 – and so passionate about this project. Blessed. Special and deep thank you’s to all involved including Martin Davis Agency for making this happen; Tre Major (hair and makeup) Jesse J Collections (stylist for Nate and Rosero), Christopher Burke (videographer) and Wallace Butts always holding things down – they all made things flow easily for Nate, Rosero and I.
I had to stop and take a photo of this salon in the middle of nowhere. The journey!
