GoldenVoice Presents Jody Watley and Shalamar Reloaded “SRL” in a return engagement at the legendary The Roxy Theatre on The Sunset Strip, West Hollywood, CA January 28, 2017. Get your tickets early, this will be another sold-out show. We sang, danced, partied and I’m told a lot of people made new friends – wattage crew.
We anticipate the release of “Bridges” around the same time – so get in the mood now!

Up next this week I’ll be in San Jose at SAP Center on February 12 and then on to Las Vegas Orleans Arena February 13, 2016. I’ll be bringing Nate Smith and Rosero McCoy with me for a special guest spot on these concerts. “..we are a new group, all originals to Shalamar Reloaded a vocal dance trio for a new generation..our goals changed in a year, that’s what life is about, staying open, evalutating, improving..”
The Shalamar Reloaded Remix for “SlowDance” is now available at iTunes. As well, while you’re there download “Dancer” Remixed my current solo release.
New music. More to come.
“I could be ruler of the world, queen of technology – doctor lawyer, 9 to 5’er don’t matter I was born to shine.” I always want others to feel empowered, ‘Dancer’ is another in a line of my songs written where I wanted to plant those seeds. – Jody Watley

This is a must read concert review from The Roxy and conversation writer A. Scott Galloway and I had nearly a year ago regarding the Shalamar trademark and fast forward to forming a new group Shalamar Reloaded as we evolved from where we began – and as well as a business woman where I saw a bigger picture and the opportunity for us to start fresh without the negativity and baggage of the past which reared it’s ugly head. My initial actions were successful in putting an end to false and misleading ads, use of old photo’s which misused my likeness, etc. We don’t want to be the new version of a group that faded into obscurity and ended in 1990; we came to that conclusion after releasing ‘SlowDance’ and the beautifully filmed video. There are no replacements, imposter’s, wannabee’s..it’s us starting fresh.
I’m always moving forward and always in the most positive most effective way I know how. Shalamar Reloaded continues to make noise. The next Shalamar Reloaded single O.R. I. G. IN.A.L is on the way – as we proceed.

Now if other show bookers would take notice! We deliver a great performance and always upbeat interview talking about the now and what we have going on.
