To those who’ve asked on my social media FB / IG .. I’m on the mend since my recent slip and fall. My attitude is always upbeat and positive. I’m doing great bones in shattered wrist are healing just fine, still a bit of pain but not like the agony I felt when it happened and these past two weeks as well as when I had to have my wrist bones pushed into place and reset for cast last week .. chile listen – it’s no joke.
My back also still hurts a bit. I’ve since ordered a ton of socks “with grip” to wear in the house lol. Lesson learned.
Sleeping is difficult because of the cast and being uncomfortable as are most small tasks around the house, getting dressed, brushing my hair, the list goes on giving me an even greater respect to those who manage and adapt just fine with loss of limbs or being born without them at all keeping things in perspective.
Declined surgery so I’ll be in cast another 3 to 4 weeks, use of my left hand only every task is a challenge but I’m managing, have continued wrapping up promotions for my latest release “The Healing” and just released The APX Music Remix.
Join me live later today with michael_colyar page 6 PM PST talking “The Healing” – healing, life and more! #jodywatley #life #music – no matter what you’re going through, keep your Wattage!
My orthopedic specialist is really great and has one of those up beat demeanors which has helped during this process, he’s been very reassuring as well as a pleasant staff- these things make a difference.
Spending so much time at home, household mishaps can be more likely.
