(LOS ANGELES) December 12, 2022 – Grammy winning artist Jody Watley has confirmed to perform at music icon and superstar, STEVIE WONDER’s 24th House Full of Toys Benefit Concert on Saturday, December 17, 2022 – Microsoft Theater.
“Today, more than ever throughout the world, we are challenged with many issues… social, political, economic, spiritual, but that must not stop our opportunity to give and share in the spirit and reason for the season. I am as always overjoyed to again present the celebration House Full of Toys,” says Stevie.
House Full of Toys will benefit children, people with disabilities and families in need. Concertgoers are asked to bring an unwrapped toy or unwrapped gift of joy. Your charitable gift is 100% tax deductible since no goods or services will be provided in consideration for your gift. Wonder’s We Are You Foundation m is a nonprofit organization, IRC501(c)(3).
“When Stevie Wonder, the most celebrated music icon of all time calls, you answer,” says Watley. “He is a wonderful and true humanitarian. I am truly honored to be a part of his House Full of Toys concert.”
Stevie Wonder is one of the most celebrated and prominent figures in popular music, having received numerous awards and honors including 25 Grammy Awards, the prestigious Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. His humanitarian efforts are world known.
He is the youngest recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors and is a Commander of France’s National Order of Arts and Letters. Stevie has received the Presidential Medal of Freedom and is a designated United Nations Messenger of Peace with special focus on persons with disabilities.
