For some reason when I woke up this morning, one of my first thoughts was being a little girl in elementary school at Thanksgiving time. The smell of school paste felt real (I loved that smell). I could remember myself excited to cut out colorful shapes on  construction paper,  coloring in the templates provided by the teacher. It was with great joy to complete a paper turkey or making autumn leaves to take home – my creation. It really is the simple things in life that can make you smile at any given moment.
